“ESE”
Working in a larger space I was able to execute shapes that resemble an actual letter. After I was done drawing, working with the placement and negative space, I saw the letter “E”. Continuing with a cool color palette I added some blues and called it a day.
Graffiti in its most traditional form is the letter. Here, is one of several foundation studies I have been completing over the last several months. These pieces are a result of breaking down the letter structure. These are just fragments of shapes left for the viewer’s interpretation. A minimalist approach that allows a deeper connection.
