The colors Black, Grey, and Red have always looked Fresh to me. In this piece “Rojo” I stuck to only Black and Red as my color palate allowing the light shading in the structure to naturally create the Grey tones. There is a unique balance that is happening here. Even though the shapes are confined in this square you can feels its natural urge to spread and continue outward.

Graffiti in its most traditional form is the letter. Here, is one of several foundation studies I have been completing over the last several months. These pieces are a result of breaking down the letter structure. These are just fragments of shapes left for the viewer’s interpretation. A minimalist approach which allows a deeper connection.
